Delay to the Electronic Reporting Requirements of the Improve Tracking Rule

As part of our efforts to keep you informed of OSHA’s activities, I wanted to let you know that OSHA has issued a final rule to a delay the electronic reporting compliance date of the Improve Tracking of Workplace Injuries and Illnesses rule, from July 1, 2017 to December 15, 2017. The delay provides employers the same four-month window for submitting data that the original rule would have provided.

The final rule will be published in the Federal Register on Friday November 24, 2017.  Please share with your stakeholders.
