SCHC Web Site Privacy Statement

The Society for Chemical Hazard Communication (SCHC) will not sell or disclose to third parties any information collected from Web forms or e-mailing lists without the user’s consent. If SCHC retains agents, contractors or companies to perform services on its behalf, SCHC will ensure that the company is made aware of the security practices and takes reasonable precautions to protect any transferred information.

SCHC does not collect small text files called “cookies” or any other types of information remembered from each visit to the Web site. SCHC has collected contact information including addresses, telephone and fax numbers from each of its members but does not post this information on the web site. The only member information posted on the web site is the contact information for officers, Board members and committee chairs and a list of consultants, which is a fee-based service.

It is the goal of SCHC’s Web site to provide factual, up-to-date information in a reasonable timeframe. It will take reasonable steps to fulfill this goal. However, SCHC does not represent that this information is accurate or complete and it should not be relied upon as such.
