Safe + Sound Week began Monday, August 9, 2021. Please check out this year’s kickoff video, and visit osha.gov/safeandsoundweek for ideas on how to participate in this annual event recognizing the value of workplace safety and health programs. Additional information is available below.

Safe + Sound Week is a nationwide event held each August to show your business's commitment to keep workers safe year-round. Safe + Sound Week is also a time when information and ideas are shared to help get your safety and health program started or improve an existing program.

Management Leadership Challenge

During the month of March, we are highlighting Management Leadership, a core element of a workplace safety and health program.

Show your commitment to safety leadership by participating in the Take 3 in 30 challenge:

  1. Choose three actions from our list or pick one of your own.
  2. Download your virtual challenge coin after completing your activities.
  3. Share your three actions and challenge coin in your company newsletter, on social media using #SafeAndSoundAtWork and #Take3in30, or post it in your workplace.

On-Site Consultation Program 

The OSHA On-Site Consultation Program offers no-cost and confidential occupational safety and health services for small or medium-sized businesses in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and several U.S. territories. Consultants work with employers to find and fix workplace hazards, provide advice for complying with OSHA standards, train workers, and develop and improve safety and health programs. The employer determines the scope of the consultation visit and consultants do not issue citations or penalties.
