Abstract:

Every four years, domestic manufacturers and importers of chemicals must report to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under the Chemical Data Reporting rule (CDR). The next reports are due in 2020; with 2019 as the principal reporting year. Manufacturers should start collecting data now. CDR reporting can be time-consuming and complex, involving different parties within a manufacturer’s supply chain. The rule is changing so this year may be especially challenging with differences in who needs to report, thresholds and what needs to be reported. This presentation will give you up to date changes in the rule and some practical ideas for an efficient process to comply starting June 1, 2020.
