As the World Turns…so Does GHS!
Moderators: Michele Sullivan and Lori Burry

While the adoption of GHS is well integrated into our daily practices, there are always new developments.  This Forum session will discuss the on-going implementation of GHS around the world, with a focus on Mexico and South Korea. We will also discuss strategies for tracking updates, and making compliant GHS classifications, GHS SDSs, and GHS labels.  Any other challenges attendees face are also welcome to be brought to the floor!

TSCA: Two years in
Moderators: Ari Lewis and Karin Baron

The passage of the revised TSCA brought some significant changes to the registration of chemicals in the US.  Pre-manufacturer notices (PMNs) and low volume exemptions (LVEs) are receiving more scrutiny, requiring more information on potential risks, and resulting in more use restrictions.  Moreover, the analysis of existing chemicals is on the horizon.  This forum session will discuss members’ experiences with PMNs and LVE under the new rules and how members are preparing for existing chemical assessments.

After REACH 2018-What's Next?
Moderators: Beth Bidstrup and Morgan Hellyer

The deadlines for the registration of existing chemicals in EU commerce has  now passed.  What can you expect from ECHA under REACH in the future?  ECHA dossier reviews and updates? Authorization and Restriction activities? Substances in Articles?

Some process or SOP ideas to consider may include classification of products, authoring, quality control, distribution, classification change notification. Please join us to discuss best practices. Other SOP ideas are welcome!

4:30-5:45          Committee Meetings - Hosted by the Committee Chairs
Review our committees and plan to attend a committee meeting!
