A Note from AIHA Registry Programs

Since the development of the first exam, delivered March 30, 2012, AIHA Registry Programs has been proud to partner with SCHC in the ongoing maintenance and administration of the SDS and Label Authoring Registry.

The SDS and Label Authoring Registry program recognizes chemical hazard communication and environmental health professionals who specialize in authoring safety data sheets (SDS) and labels and was developed to assure the recognition of competent professionals.

To attain the SDS Registered Professional (SDSRPTM) designation, a candidate must meet the established qualifications and demonstrate competency in the skills and knowledge defined by the program’s Body of Knowledge. This AIHA Registry Program is the first and only credential that provides recognition for individuals who have expertise in this area.

SDSRPTM exams are offered at AIHA and SCHC meetings, in addition to the remote proctored option. AIHA Registry Programs can also work with groups of candidates within a geographic area or within a corporation to schedule and proctor a special examination session. Contact us if you are interested in sponsoring an examination session in your area or at your company.

As always, AIHA Registry Programs is excited to promote the importance of the SDS and Label Authoring Registry and the value of the SDSRPTM designation.
