Forty years ago, the Society for Chemical Hazard Communication was formed to address hazard communications and its role in ensuring a safer experience for workers and consumers.  Since its formation, the collective knowledge and influence of the SCHC group members has been increasingly responsible for worldwide changes in the areas of research, manufacturing, transportation, consumer safety, and much more.  Our members and students hail from a myriad professional roles and stages in their careers, from college-aged to distinguished members who have been with the organization for several decades.  As a volunteer-run organization, we are proud of the successes we've had over the past four decades and look forward to the next 40 years!
